Butler Memorial Presbyterian Church would like to send a heartfelt welcome to all to “a place where your soul matters.” We have been a major part of the Savannah community for decades and have been sharing our love for God with great passion since our inception. Our church would like to let you know, as a community, that it would bring us great joy for you to come in and spend time with an amazing congregation that is hungry for the Word of God.

Though these are difficult times, the people of Butler have been sharing every day that a new beginning is upon us if we just hold on to God’s hand. The Scriptures tell us that it matters not at what point in your life you make that all important decision to walk with the Lord, as long as at some point you conclude that Christ is for you.

One of the things you will find at Butler is that every member from the children to our elderly plays a major part in the operation of the Church. It is a certainty that you will be asked to do something. Such inclusion mirrors God’s call to get involved in becoming fishers of men. We have found that nothing means more to a person than to feel like they are a part of something and at Butler, you will get that opportunity.

We employ every resource we have to make sure that anyone we come in contact with knows that we are on a mission to “make disciples of all men.” One can join a ministry, sing in a choir, volunteer for an activity, or utilize the talent to make the services we provide more meaningful. Rest assured that you will be encouraged to participate.

Butler Memorial Presbyterian Church plans to be at the forefront of the new movement to welcome God’s people back to their original dwelling place when the Lord sees fit. Everything that happens in life is for a reason and we believe that the God we serve is going to bring something positive out of all of the negative that we have endured as of late. Come and be a part of this new movement. It is surely coming and we want you to be a part of the joy when the “fulfillment of time has come.” It is closer now than ever.
